Principal Systems Engineer

Principal Systems Engineer, WDC. Senior Network Engineer

Location: Washington , DC

Sr. Network Engineer, WDC. Design, implement and maintain Cisco based Local Area, Wide Area, and Data Center network for up to 20,000 user enterprise network; design, pilot and build Cisco based wireless network using Cisco wireless LAN controllers and a variety of Cisco Access Points; design, test and implement other networking technology such as VPN, Radius, IPv6, MPLS, OSPF, EIGRP and VoIP. Senior Java Developers

Location: Washington , DC

Our Application Development practice has a few middle to senior level Java developer/software engineer openings for our client located in Washington, DC. The Java Developer will participate in full lifecycle development of a multi-tiered J2EE application, including implementing both client and server side using technologies such as servlets, JSP, rich client technologies, web services, and Enterprise Javabeans (EJB); working with business analysts and end users to understand the requirements; and assisting in various lifecycle artifacts, including requirement specifications, high level architecture, and detailed design documents.

These positions require excellent communication skills, at least three years of hands-on Java programming experience, and at least one year experience with J2EE application servers, such as WebSphere, WebLogic and Apache Tomcat. The candidates must be familiar with OO modeling and software lifecycle management (LCM) processes. Experiences with one or more of the following technologies and frameworks are highly desired: Spring Framework, Apache Struts, Hibernate and Java Servlets. US citizenship required.

Senior Microsoft Technical Engineer

Location: Washington , DC

Senior Microsoft Technical Engineer serves as AD tech lead for a major migration project from Novell based File/Print Services and Groupwise Email to Microsoft AD2003 based File/Print Services and Exchange Email. Responsibilities include design, testing, deployment, migration of various sites, and management of the server clusters. Excellent pay and compensation.

Requirements: Extensive hands-on background in Microsoft AD2003 based technologies such as Domain Controller, File/Print server, and Exchange server, with emphasis on domain management and file/print services. Experience with large server environment (TBs of data, thousands of users). Candidate should be familiar with Microsoft Cluster technology with Storage Area Network (SAN) as well as migration tools such as Quest. The candidate needs to have excellent communication and inter-personnel skills, self-motivated and result driven. Ability to quickly troubleshoot and resolve problems is a must.

Experiences and Education: Minimum college degree and 5 years experience in IT industry with at least 3 years in large scale Microsoft AD/Exchange applications. MCSE certification.
